Terms and Conditions
Sip and Create Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern participation in all Sip and Create events, workshops, pop-up events, collaborative events, private bookings, and the use of our website.
By purchasing a ticket, attending an event, making a booking, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Throughout this document, "Sip and Create," "we," "our," and "the Company" refer to Art Lab Aktiebolag. "Participant" refers to any individual attending or purchasing a ticket for an event.
If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, please contact us.
1. Our Events
Sip and Create provides instructor-led creative experiences designed for entertainment, relaxation, and social interaction.
Each event is unique and is intended to guide Participants through the creation of one artwork during approximately three hours. While our instructors demonstrate techniques and provide guidance, every finished artwork will naturally be unique.
Participants are encouraged to express their creativity and are not expected to reproduce the example artwork exactly.
Our events are intended to be enjoyable social experiences rather than formal art education.
Unless otherwise stated, event capacity is limited. Sip and Create reserves the right to adjust participant numbers where appropriate.
Private events may be arranged at our studio or at another agreed venue and may be subject to additional booking terms.
2. Eligibility and Participation
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are able to safely participate in the activities offered during the event.
Children under the age of 16 may only attend when accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.
Sip and Create reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any Participant whose behaviour:
is abusive, threatening or disruptive;
places other Participants, staff or venue personnel at risk;
damages equipment or property;
significantly interferes with the enjoyment of the event by others.
Participants removed from an event for these reasons will not be entitled to a refund.
3. Event Materials
Unless otherwise stated, all materials required for the event are included in the ticket price.
These may include:
canvas or other creative surfaces;
paints;
brushes;
aprons;
tools and accessories required for the selected activity.
Participants should wear clothing suitable for painting and creative activities. Although protective aprons are provided, Sip and Create cannot guarantee that clothing or personal belongings will not become stained or damaged.
4. Event Timing
Participants are encouraged to arrive before the scheduled start time.
Sip and Create will make every reasonable effort to begin events on time.
Late arrivals may miss important instructions and, depending on the progress of the event, may not be able to participate fully.
Late arrival does not entitle a Participant to a refund, credit, or replacement ticket.
5. Personal Property
Participants bring personal belongings to an event entirely at their own risk.
Sip and Create accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, including clothing, mobile phones, electronic devices, handbags, jewellery, or other valuables.
Where coat racks or storage areas are provided, they are offered solely as a convenience and do not constitute secure storage.
Participants are encouraged to avoid bringing unnecessary valuables to events.
6. Health and Safety
Participants agree to follow all reasonable instructions provided by Sip and Create staff and venue personnel.
Participants must immediately inform a member of staff of any accident, injury, spill, or unsafe condition.
Where events are hosted at third-party venues, Participants must also comply with the venue's health and safety requirements.
Sip and Create reserves the right to modify activities where necessary to protect the safety of Participants or staff.
7. Food and Alcohol
Unless otherwise stated, event tickets include one non-alcoholic welcome drink and light refreshments.
Participants may bring their own beverages, including alcoholic beverages, only where permitted by the venue and applicable law.
Food may not be brought into the studio unless prior approval has been given by Sip and Create. This restriction helps us manage allergies, maintain hygiene standards, and minimise cleaning requirements.
Participants who choose to consume alcohol do so responsibly and entirely at their own risk.
Sip and Create reserves the right to refuse service or remove any Participant whose behaviour is affected by intoxication or who creates an unsafe or disruptive environment.
No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
8. Participant Conduct
We are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive and respectful environment for everyone.
Participants are expected to treat fellow Participants, instructors, venue staff and Company representatives with courtesy and respect.
The following behaviour is not permitted:
harassment, discrimination or intimidation;
threatening or abusive language;
excessive intoxication;
deliberate damage to equipment or property;
behaviour that compromises the safety or enjoyment of others.
Participants may be asked to leave immediately if these standards are not respected.
Any damage intentionally or negligently caused to Company property or venue property may be charged to the responsible Participant.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sip and Create shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from participation in an event.
Participants acknowledge that creative activities involve the use of paints, tools and other materials that may cause accidental staining or minor damage to clothing or personal belongings.
Sip and Create provides protective aprons as a courtesy but cannot guarantee complete protection.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited under Swedish law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Participants attend events at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate in the activities offered.
10. Ticket Purchases and Payment
All event bookings must be paid in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A booking is confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed.
Event prices, promotions and discounts are subject to change without notice and apply only to new bookings.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that the information provided during booking, including contact details, is accurate. Sip and Create is not responsible for missed communications resulting from incorrect contact information.
Gift cards and promotional codes must be redeemed before their expiry date and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by applicable law.
11. Cancellations, Refunds and Ticket Transfers
By purchasing a ticket, the Participant acknowledges and accepts the cancellation and refund policy set out below.
Standard Studio Events
Tickets for standard Sip and Create studio events may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled event start time for a full refund.
Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the event, failure to attend, or late arrival are not eligible for a refund.
Pop-Up Events and Collaborative Events
Tickets purchased for pop-up events, guest events, festivals, markets, or events organised in collaboration with partner venues, businesses or organisations are non-refundable from the time of purchase.
These events require advance planning, venue commitments and supplier arrangements. For this reason, all ticket sales for these events are final.
Participants who are unable to attend may transfer their ticket to another person at no additional charge. Where reasonably possible, Sip and Create should be notified of the new attendee's name before the event.
At its sole discretion, Sip and Create may issue a booking credit in exceptional circumstances. The decision to provide a credit is entirely discretionary and does not create an entitlement for future requests.
Events subject to this policy will be clearly identified at the time of booking.
Private Events
Private event cancellations made at least seven (7) days before the scheduled event are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made between 72 hours and seven (7) days before the event may be eligible for a partial refund, at Sip and Create's discretion.
Where final participant numbers have been confirmed, cancellations received within 72 hours may still be charged as originally agreed.
Ticket Transfers
Unless otherwise stated, event tickets may be transferred to another person before the event.
Tickets may not be transferred to a different event date unless approved by Sip and Create.
12. Event Changes and Cancellation by Sip and Create
Sip and Create reserves the right to make reasonable changes to an event where necessary, including changes to:
venue;
instructor or host;
event date or start time;
artwork or creative project;
event format.
Where practical, Participants will be notified of any significant changes using the contact details provided during booking.
If Sip and Create cancels an event for reasons other than Force Majeure, Participants will be offered either:
a full refund; or
the opportunity to transfer their booking to another event of equal or greater value.
Sip and Create shall not be responsible for travel expenses, accommodation costs, loss of earnings or any other indirect expenses arising from an event cancellation.
13. Photography and Marketing
Photographs and video recordings may be taken during events for promotional, educational and marketing purposes.
These images may be used on Sip and Create's website, social media channels, printed materials, advertisements and other marketing platforms.
By attending an event, Participants acknowledge that they may appear in photographs or video recordings taken during the event.
Participants who prefer not to appear in photographs or recordings should notify a member of staff upon arrival. Sip and Create will make reasonable efforts to respect these requests, although complete exclusion from group photography cannot always be guaranteed.
All personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
14. Communications
By providing contact information during booking, Participants agree that Sip and Create may contact them regarding:
booking confirmations;
event reminders;
changes affecting their booking;
important customer service communications.
Where Participants have separately opted in, Sip and Create may also send newsletters, promotions and future event information.
Marketing communications may be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in each email.
15. General Terms
Sip and Create reserves the right to refuse admission where reasonably necessary to protect the safety, wellbeing or enjoyment of Participants, staff or venue personnel.
Participants are expected to comply with all reasonable instructions issued by Sip and Create staff throughout an event.
Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions may result in removal from the event without refund.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Any failure by Sip and Create to enforce a provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other rights available to the Company.
